The time for harvest

September has arrived, bringing crisp morning air and a special buzz to our vineyards. Here at Cantina di Presciano, located between the Valdarno and Valdichiana areas, the harvest is a time of physical labor and deep dedication. Picking grapes is hard work that requires patience and respect for nature’s pace, but watching the crates fill up makes every effort worthwhile. It is beautiful work, driven by the passion that compels us, the Perrotta and Tibaldi families, to take care of these hills every single day.

The soul of the land

Since 2012, when we picked up the path started by Commendatore Umberto Perrotta, our goal has always been the recovery of our historic vineyards. In this unique landscape, among woods, olive trees, and terraces overlooking the Arno river, Sangiovese expresses its most authentic character. We farm according to organic principles, certified since 2015, without using synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, letting the land speak through our wines. The results of this care are revealed only over time, during the aging process in large oak barrels where our reds find their balance.

Our selection

Every bottle holds the dedication we put into our vineyards and cellar:

• Chianti Riserva DOCG: a wine of great character, with notes of ripe red fruit, violets, and spices; powerful and elegant.
• Chianti Superiore DOCG: a lively and harmonious version, characterized by scents of blackberry jam, dried roses, and a delicate touch of oak.
• Puer: our white wine, fresh and fragrant, with notes of orange blossoms and ripe fruit.
